We are CARE Global.
CARE stands for Community Aid & Relief Effort. We exist to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, teach the kids the world forgot, and show up where it hurts. Across Southern California and across the world.
Our Story
CARE Global began in June of 2025 in Los Angeles, California. It is directly affiliated with the Restored Church Worldwide (RCW) and serves as the benevolent arm of this movement of churches around the world.
The purpose of CARE is to meet the needs of our communities in whatever manner is needed. We want to not just ‘do a good deed’, but have a deep impact on our communities as often people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.
The team
Tyler Sears, Co-Director. Tyler leads CARE’s program work, including the CARE School in Oko-Baba and the local outreach calendar. He keeps the operation running and the photos coming.
Shay Sears, Co-Director. Shay leads our community partnerships, volunteer coordination, and the Christmas CARE Offering each year. She is the reason a hundred volunteers know exactly where to be on a soup kitchen Saturday.
Our community. CARE Global is supported by the great members of our community across the nation. They give their time, money, and prayer to the work of caring for the world and the less fortunate. Without them there is no CARE.
Where we work
Locally. We are based out of Los Angeles, California and currently serve in dozens of cities throughout the larger metropolitan area. This includes major counties such as Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and Orange.
Nationally. We currently have partnerships in nine US states from the West Coast to the East Coast. Our hope is to have projects consistently running in all fifty states in the near future.
Globally. Outside of the United States, we have partnerships in Canada, Ivory Coast, the Philippines and a Signature Project in Lagos, Nigeria.
Our beliefs
CARE Global is the benevolent arm of a Christian ministry. We strive to serve every person regardless of faith, background, race or status. We do not require anyone we serve to believe what we believe. We simply believe Jesus loved them first, and we get to be the hands that reach out to the world around us, fulfilling Jesus’ own words in Acts 20:35 that “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
